Evaluation of physical health programs has been a major
focus of CER during the past two decades. CER’s evaluation
services have focused on environmental, community,
school-based, and preventative care programs. CER staff
work with stakeholders in the planning, implementation,
data collection, and reporting phases. The goal is to collect
and use quality information to make service adjustments
and determine program impact.
Why CER?
CER has extensive experience making data
understandable and usable.
CER has created widely distributed
community and tribal health profiles.
CER has successfully evaluated numerous mental health
programs including Safe and Healthy Schools, School
Counseling, Mental Health Systems of Care, Healthy Start,
and California Wellness Project to just name a few.
Similarly, CER is a leading evaluation firm for substance
abuse programs specifically targeting alcohol, marijuana,
cocaine, methamphetamine, and prescription drug abuse.
The extensive experience in the evaluation of mental
health and substance abuse programs has led to the
development of instruments and protocols for collecting
sensitive data while ensuring confidentiality.
